A9 Computer services have been collecting donations for 2 charities over the last few years. First we started collecting for the Leukaemia charities. We ended up collecting £197 which went to the children with leukaemia fund. Leukaemia is a cancer of the blood and is the most common cancer that is found in children. More info here:
After that, we concentrated on collecting donations for Parkinsons Research with my family having been touched by this horrible disease. We have, to date, collected over £600 for this worthy charity. One person in every 500 has Parkinson’s. That’s over 120,000 people in the UK alone. Most people who get Parkinson’s are aged 50 or over but younger people can get it too. One in 20 is under the age of 40. More info here:
